Ann Fogler is a mezzo-soprano who studies with Marilyn Bulli in Boston, MA. During her undergraduate career at Dickinson College Ann studied with Lynn Helding. She was featured as the soloist in the Dickinson College Orchestra concert after winning the Dickinson College Concerto Competition. She and the orchestra performed "Lamentation" from Leonard Bernstein's Symphony no. 1 "Jeremiah" in November 2014.
Ann has participated in two summer music festivals, including International Music Festival of the Adriatic with Andrew Whitfield and OC Vocalis Academy with Dubravka Zubovic, Milena Kitic, Ines Salazar, and Mark Goodrich.
This upcoming summer Ann will perform the role of Mrs. Herring from Britten’s Albert Herring at Opera in the Ozarks’ Emerging Artists program. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters degree in vocal performance at The Boston Conservatory. Ann recently completed performing as a chorus member of the conservatory’s production of Verdi’s La Traviata, and was cast as the cover for Marcellina in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, which will be performed in March 2016.
